QA walks, by text
The super walking the project at 7 AM sees five deficiencies and has zero hands free to log them. Forward lets the super dictate the QA walk into a text — each deficiency becomes a drafted punch item with the photo attached.
The 'I'll log it later' problem
Supers walking the project find deficiencies constantly: unsealed penetration, paint touchup, drywall ding, loose hardware, finish discrepancy from spec. Writing them down on a notepad while holding a coffee + a flashlight + the radio doesn’t happen. So the items get noted mentally — “I’ll log it after the walk” — and roughly half of them never make it into the official punch list.
What Forward does
Super texts each deficiency as it’s spotted, with an optional photo:
Super: deficiency — paint touchup at room 207 north wall,
2-foot scratch

Forward: Drafted punch item · Tower B
Room: 207
Trade: Paint
Type: Touchup (scratch)
Severity: Standard

Status: Queued for Sarah Chen's approval
Super: deficiency — unsealed pipe penetration at level 3
east mech room

Each deficiency creates a separate draft. Super doesn’t break stride. PM approves the queue at lunch.
How to try it
