Linear feet of rebar for a rectangular slab, wall, or footing given dimensions, bar size, and spacing in each direction. Output is the total LF you order from the bar supplier.

Length direction: 61 bars × 40 ft = 2,440 LF; Width direction: 41 bars × 60 ft = 2,460 LF; Subtotal 4,900 LF before waste.
Standard formula per direction: bars = floor(span ÷ spacing) + 1; LF = bars × perpendicular length. Does not include lap splices (typically 30-40 bar diameters extra at each splice) — bump waste to 10-15% if your spec requires significant lap.
